Mobile DPF diagnostics and on-car cleaning: what to expect
DPFs commonly block due to frequent short journeys that do not allow regeneration to complete, an underlying engine or sensor fault, or internal damage. Before any work, I always check for underlying faults, since a clean will not fix a DPF that is blocking for a different reason.
For most road-going vehicles, an on-car chemical clean with forced regeneration clears the blockage without anything being removed. This is a software and on-car service only. I do not offer off-car machine cleaning or physical DPF removal. If your vehicle needs either, I will tell you during diagnostics and point you towards a specialist workshop.
Diagnose why the DPF is blocking

Controlled-use DPF software enquiries
For qualifying vehicles only, I can consider software-calibration requests involving DPF, EGR and AdBlue/SCR functions, including selected combinations with Stage 1. These options are not offered for vehicles used, or intended to be used, on public roads.

Eligibility is checked before I quote
I will only consider a dedicated competition vehicle transported to and from events without using public roads, a vehicle being exported with supporting evidence, or a vehicle that will remain permanently outside public-road use. A vehicle being SORN, trailered occasionally or described as “off-road use only” does not by itself establish eligibility.
I will ask for the vehicle's intended use, ownership, storage or operating location and transport arrangements in writing. I may request supporting evidence and may refuse any enquiry where the intended use or legal position is unclear. A declaration does not override legal requirements or transfer away Myst Auto's responsibilities.
Prices are starting points for software work on a supported ECU and exclude physical hardware work. The £180 new-customer Stage 1 promotion does not apply to these controlled-use packages.

Who this isn't right for
I'd rather tell you upfront than take your money for something that won't help.
- Heavily ash-loaded DPFs, these usually need machine cleaning or replacement, which I don't carry out myself
- DPF deletion, bypass or monitoring deactivation for a road-going vehicle

For road-going vehicles, this is a diagnostic and on-car cleaning service. I do not offer off-car machine cleaning, physical DPF removal, or DPF deletion, bypass or monitoring deactivation.
Manufacturer-fitted emissions equipment that is missing, obviously modified or defective can result in an MOT major defect, and using a non-compliant vehicle on a public road may be unlawful. Separate controlled-use software enquiries may be considered only for verified competition, export or permanently non-road vehicles. A customer declaration does not override those requirements.
On-car cleaning is most effective for early-to-moderate blockages. Heavily ash-loaded or damaged DPFs may need machine cleaning or replacement, which I don't carry out myself but can refer to a specialist.
